Beautiful Thanksgiving Mom

My radiant wife on Thanksgiving day...

maxn' and relaxin'

So who does he look like? 24 weeks.

The other day I felt my son kick for the first time. I know Catherine has felt him rumbling around for awhile, but I hadn't until now. It was so cool. I just kept laughing the whole time he was doing it.
So isn't he just dominating in there? On his back, legs straight up, hand on his forehead. Must be nice to relax like that on a regular basis. He also yawned when we got these pictures.

5 months and growing

This was such a cool day. They spent a long time measuring and checking everything, took a lot of pictures and even a video. However the video didn't work, and this was the best photo we got. It was so awesome seeing him move around though. The doctor said everything looks great. I found myself wondering today how many amazing things God is about to show us.

20 weeks...

.... 20 weeks! (below)

(above)
I am actually 19 weeks here.
Thank you, Rita! My belly is showing so now I get the
preggo Willow Tree Angel. I don't know if most women are like me, but I used to look at this all the time in stores, especially in the last year. I couldn't wait until the day that I got this angel,
and my heart was always drawn to the one with the dad holding his son. And I look forward to the day that I get to buy that one for Curtis.

Shopping spree!!! (18 weeks)

Thank you Mama Dianne!
She took me on this wonderful day of shopping, it
was just like in the movies. I got my hair done the next day, Candice is the best. This is one of my favorite outfits, mostly because it really accentuates my belly! I can still kinda hide it with some clothes, but in maternity clothes it's a cute little belly.

Crazy pile of tags!

Such a slacker

First off, don't you love the little brown baby on my ticker! Curtis thought it was hilarious, but I said, "well he'll most likely be brown". So I wanted to apologize to all my friends who have been eagerly awaiting my next update, I've been waiting on my husband, but he has been gone the last 2 weeks. First in Jacksonville, now in Puerto Rico. But he will be back tomorrow, Happy Halloween to me! Then I will post my new pics and fabulous news, I have been so spoiled lately, I mean BLESSED, of course. Anyway, say a little prayer for my friend Amberly, she's in Korea and just took the GRE and I just really miss her. Thanks!

16 weeks and gleaming

So we weren't supposed to find out what we're having until 20 weeks with our doctor, but he said he needed to check a few things. I said "And maybe see what it is?" The doctor laughed and said "If we happen to see what it is, then great! However insurance doesn't need to know that." He is so cool. He said he's such a pushover when it comes to sonograms.

For all my praying friends, would you please take a moment to pray for these girls: Amanda Fruge (junior high friend), Mique Chappell (co-worker), Sabrina Lebeau (college friend), Michele Whitten (friend and neighbor), Jalissa Lowry (friend), Jessica Obanion (friend across the street), Erica (neighbor's daughter). All of these women are pregnant and are expecting within two weeks of me, except Jalissa (who's two months ahead of us). They are often on my mind. - Catherine

We are so freakin' excited! And for those of you who don't know here's why:

It's A Boy!
And what a boy!

good strong heart beat and about 3 inches long, the little one is now 12 weeks old. we heard the heart beat which was really cool. we heard and saw the baby kicking a few times too. this is so amazing. its all there...just growing. the little hands and feet were moving all over the place. such a busy kid already. you could see the individual fingers and toes, its so cool!

this is our little one at 7 weeks. we go back to the doctor for the 12 week check-up in two more weeks. we are excited to hear the heartbeat. catherine wasn't too happy about the blurry picture, but the baby is there in the upper part of the sac. currently we are at 10 weeks. catherine is doing great except for being tired all the time. what's crazy to me is there are ten fingers and ten toes already and the kid is only as big as the end of my thumb. God is so amazing.
